Women shop for many reasons. Whether they are finding the perfect gift or buying groceries for the family, women tend to spend a lot of time in the stores. It would be a good bet that those women are shopping for others. If you think about all of the things women do for their friends and family, you may just realize why they are so good at shopping. So don't listen to complaints from men about women shopping; what do men know anyway?!

On average, women spend 100.48 hours shopping for clothes. Depending on how her man acts, she may shop even more because of her need for retail therapy.

Do women really have a "shopping cortex"?
Scientists are still mapping out the brains of humans. Females do seem to have increased activity in a certain area of the brain, especially when looking at racks of shoes and dresses. Males seem to experience the same when staring at electronics or golf clubs.
