Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Bates Motel Haunted House & Hayride is located deep within a 200 year-old forest that is full of overgrown trees and dark paths. Guests walk into the forest to catch a hayride that is complete with a custom soundtrack, pyrotechnics and scares. At one point during the hayride, characters actually jump onto the ride, poking and grabbing at people.
While walking through the Bates Motel, your hair may be touched, you could be brushed or breathed on or even have a foot or arm grabbed. One of the spookiest moments is when you walk through a meat locker in which the room temperature is lowered and you are met with a lunatic plowing through hanging corpses, screaming at the top of his lungs.
You can visit the Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride at 1835 N. Middletown Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
