Schools Ban Provocative Prom Dresses

Prom is supposed to be an unforgettable evening, filled with glamour and romance. At least, that's what the magazines tell us. In real life, prom doesn't always go so smoothly.

The Wall Street Journal reports that high schools across the country are buckling down on dress code rules, banning overly-provocative clothing, including micro-minis, cut-outs and plunging necklines.

This year, students will have to be choosy about what they purchase for prom.
