How to Plan a Wedding

1. Set the Date & Book the Reception Site 1 of 11

Venues book up quickly, some as many as two years in advance. If you don't want a long engagement, this can be disappointing. To make things easier on yourself, set a date and choose a venue as soon as possible. Most venues will require a deposit to save your spot, so once you find a place that you love, put down the deposit. If you want to have your ceremony in a separate location, make sure to book that, as well.
