Usain Bolt solidified his status as the fastest man alive at the 2008 Beijing Olympics when he ran the 100m in an unbelievable 9.69 seconds. 

  • Bolt also smashed the 200m world record in 19.30 seconds, and his Jamaican relay team set a new world record in the 4x100m in 37.10 seconds.
  • Usain Bolt became the first man in history to set world records in all three events at a single Olympics.
