10 NFL Players to Watch in 2012

Andrew Luck 1 of 11

Andrew Luck is coming into an impossible situation, but he has everyone believing in the possibility of greatness for Indianapolis. The Colts went 2-14 last year with franchise hero Peyton Manning injured. That came after nine consecutive playoff appearances, a Super Bowl win, a Super Bowl loss, and five league MVP trophies for Manning. It's unlikely that Luck will turn the ship around, but his first season in the league should be something special to watch.

  • Luck was the 1st overall pick in the NFL draft and is the most heavily hyped prospect since Peyton Manning entered the NFL.
  • He had the highest passing accuracy in college football (71.3% completions in 2011).
  • Luck was a two-time runner-up for the Heisman Trophy.
  • In 2011, he threw for 3,516 yards and 37 touchdowns.
