One would hope that if a person is getting paid millions of dollars to play a game that the player would act in some kind of professional manner, on and off the field. Players like to argue that they should be allowed to live their lives however they see fit regardless of the spotlight the game puts on them.
They fail to realize that they are the face of a multi-million dollar organization and multi-billion dollar business, and their negative behavior does impact the team and the rest of the league.
Yet, for some reason, many of these guys continue to do whatever it is they want to do, despite the warnings from friends, family, team and league officials.
