How Do You Make Pasta Healthier?

Serve Smaller Portions 1 of 8

All too often, pasta is served in extremely generous portion sizes that help us pack on the pounds. The correct food portion is just one cup of cooked pasta, which is enough to fill a small bowl or half of a plate. The good news is that plain pasta really isn't that bad for you, and it actually contains a good amount of dietary fiber, manganese, and selenium. Just make sure to limit yourself to one or two servings at the most.
