Celebs Who Served in the Military

Elvis 1 of 11

The King of Rock and Roll joined the U.S. Army in March of 1958 at the height of his popularity.

After completing his training, Elvis joined the 3rd Armored Division in Friedberg, Germany on October 1 and put in two years of service. He made it a point to decline any sort of special treatment during his time in the Army. In 1960, The King was given his Sergeant stripes and was honorably discharged soon after.
