What Are The Most Alcoholic Beers?

BrewDog's Tactical Nuclear Penguin 1 of 11

This stout beer, made by Scottish microbrewer BrewDog, was released in November 2009. With a whopping 32% alcohol content, it was claimed to be the world's strongest beer ever at that time.

The beer's name is derived from its method of production -- double barrel aging for 14 months in oak Scottish whisky casks, then exposure to extreme cold by being "frozen, then frozen again, then frozen again."

BrewDog warns that "This is an extremely strong beer, it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance."
