Who Has Performed Superhuman Feats?

The Iceman 1 of 16

Wim Hof, a native of the Netherlands, is known as the Iceman for his amazing ability to survive in subfreezing temperatures with no apparent ill effects. He is probably most famous for holding the World Record for being immersed in ice for 44 minutes. He has also:

  • Run a marathon in the arctic at 20 below zero with no shirt on
  • Spent 72 minutes at the North Pole wearing nothing but his shorts

He attributes his abilities to the Tantric act of Tummo, a practice of the monks in Tibet that turns the body's energy into heat.
