How Do You Customize Windows 8?

Set a Picture Password 1 of 9

Windows 8 is here and you need to know how to use it! Learn how to customize your Windows 8 experience with these simple tips.

In Windows 8, you can set up a picture password instead of a traditional typed password. This option is most useful on a touchscreen, but it will work with a mouse as well. Start by opening the Charm bar on the right side of the screen and open "Settings." Go to Change PC settings -> Users -> Sign-in options. Lastly, tap or click "Create a picture password" and follow the steps on screen. Remember that you can only use a combination of three straight lines, circles, or taps.
