No matter what you're doing in Windows 8, the Charm bar is always accessible. Simply press the Windows key and the C key at the same time to bring up this handy menu. The Charm bar provides quick access to the Start screen and the Search, Share, Devices, and Settings bars. A small box on the left also appears that displays the date, time, battery power, and Internet connection. Pressing the shortcut key again or clicking will hide the Charm bar.
