After six seasons of listening to Kristen Bell's voice and not really caring who Gossip Girl was, the series finale gave fans an answer that didn't make any sense whatsoever: Dan Humphrey is Gossip Girl.
Yeah, we get it; he's a writer, he's an outsider, etc. But that doesn't fill in all of the plotholes that this "revelation" leaves behind.
Did we even need to find out Gossip Girl's identity? Did it really matter? After all, every episode began with the blogger stating "Who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell." I would argue that it would've been better to leave her a mystery than explain her away like this. Lame.
