Who Have Been the Youngest Oscar Nominees?
Justin Henry, 'Kramer vs. Kramer' Slide 1 of 11
Full-grown adults may be the most common Oscar contenders around due to their experience in the field of acting, but that hasn't stopped the Academy from nominating young children for some of their most prestigious movie awards!
For example, Justin Henry, who played the role of Billy Kramer in 'Kramer vs. Kramer,' was nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1980 at the ripe young age of 8. He remains the youngest actor to ever be nominated for an Oscar.
