Lance Armstrong has always denied allegations of doping and performance-enhancing drug use, and he has never failed any testing. However, evidence presented against him by the United States Anti-Doping Agency in an extensive report led to his lifetime ban from the sport of cycling and the consequential stripping of all seven of his Tour de France titles.
There has been vocal pressure from the public and the cycling community for Armstrong to address the allegations in the aftermath of the scandal. In response to the pressure, Lance Armstrong sat down in a long, exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey in his hometown of Austin, Texas to speak on the matter. The interview, which is expected to air this week on Oprah's 'OWN' network, has the world expecting a confession from the famous cyclist and Livestrong founder.
