Anne Hathaway is one of the most renowned and versatile actresses in Hollywood, and The Oscars took note by awarding her Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Fantine in Tom Hooper's adaptation of 'Les Misérables.'
The acclaimed big-screen production wasn't the first time Anne has dabbled with stage productions. As a child, she often performed at New Jersey's famed Paper Mill Playhouse. Anne is a classically trained soprano, has sang at Carnegie Hall, and has earned the honor of being the first teenager ever admitted to the Barrow Group theater company's acting program. She fell in love with 'Les Misérables' as a young girl, watching her mother perform the very same role of Fantine on the stage.
