Will 'The Great Gatsby' Be the Hottest Movie of the Summer?

Stunning 3-D Spectacle 1 of 16

Baz Lurhmann caused a stir in Hollywood and the literary community when he announced his intention to make the world of 'The Great Gatsby' a 3-D experience. Luhrmann credits seeing advance footage of 'Avatar' and a 3-D showing of Hitchcock's original print for 'Dial M for Murder' as the impetus for his decision to go 3-D. Of what he saw, Baz has said, "It was much like the theater. It brought power to the performance. The actor was more in control of the drama. The camera didn’t have to generate energy. It blew my mind."
