You're probably familiar with the New Coke debacle of 1985: Coca-Cola changed their formula, hoping to take down their biggest competitor, Pepsi. Coke drinkers weren't happy about the change, and they let Coca-Cola know with thousands of letters and phone calls. The backlash led to the reintroduction of the original fomula -- now branded Coca-Cola Classic -- less than three months later.
