Who knew that a structure built beneath an overhanging cliff could withstand such an amazing test of time? Cliff Palace was built more than 800 years ago by the Ancient Pueblo Peoples. They used sandstone, mortar, and wooden beams to make it. And it's still there -- incredibly well preserved -- and available to tour with park rangers today.
