Climate change is a controversial topic, but there's one thing that virtually all scientists agree on -- it's happening and it's caused by humans. The scientific community is more sure than ever.
According to a United Nations report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), "It is at least 95 percent likely that human activities -- chiefly the burning of fossil fuels -- are the main cause of warming since the 1950s." That's up from a certainty of 90% in 2007, 66% in 2001, and barely over 50% in 1995.
