A new study by CareerBuilder and EMSI has revealed the highest paying, fastest growing careers for 2014. These jobs grew 7% or more in the last 3 years, are projected to increase in 2014, and pay $22 or more per hour. These are the hottest jobs to have!

Software development is an especially hot career because of high demand for computer software. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) describes software developers as the "creative minds behind computer programs." They predict  that there will be 22% more of them in 2022 than there were in 2012. And according to Wanted Analytics, web job listings for software developers soared 120% over last year. It's a great time to be a software developer.
