Steve Jobs 1 of 16

1955 - 2011

Steve Jobs was a hugely influential entrepreneur and inventor. He's most famous for co-founding Apple, and overseeing the development of the iMac, iTunes, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. But he also co-founded Pixar Animation Studios, and was the executive producer of 'Toy Story.' In 2003 Steve was diagnosed with a type of pancreatic cancer known as an islet cell neuroendocrine tumor. In 2008 Bloomberg prematurely published Steve's obituary. Steve responded by saying, "Reports of my death are greatly exagggerated." Steve continued to work on developing Apple's future products right up until the day before he died with his family by his side. His final words were "Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow."
