The paleo diet is all about eating like the cavemen did. What it doesn't mean is getting to eat anything that is natural. Here are some surprising foods you can't eat if you decide to try out the paleo diet.
Of course a staple of the paleo diet is meat, but only the stuff that comes fresh off the bone. You should only eat unprocessed and preferably grass fed or free range beef, lamb, chicken, etc. What you can't eat are things like lunch meat, hot dogs, sausage, and unfortunately bacon -- all of which are full of artificial preservatives.
