About Cigarettes
The word cigarette is a French word from 'cigar' and 'ette,' meaning of course, little cigar. Smoking cigarettes and other types of tobacco products are harmful to your health. The government has banned smoking in most public places throughout the United States. Cigarettes are small cylinders of paper filled with fine cut tobacco products, and sometimes filters,used for smoking. Cigarettes are highly addictive and have been proven to cause cancer.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the coordinating body of the United Nations system that deals with global health issues. The WHO is responsible for providing leadership, shaping health research agenda, setting standards, articulating evidence based policy options, providing technical support, monitoring and assessing health trends. The current Chairman of the Board for the World Health Assembly, the body that governs the WHO, is Dr Mihaly Kökény from Hungary.
