Are fireworks legal in North Carolina?

Fireworks North Carolina allows "safe and sane" fireworks. The law GS Chpt. 14, Art. 54 and GS Chpt. 14, Sec. 414 premit sparklers, fountains, smoke devices, snake and glow worms, trick noisemakers, and toy pistol caps specifically.

Any firework device that explodes, spins, flies, jumps or leaves the ground in any way is illegal in North Carolina. ChaCha!
