Are Mosquitos more attracted to a female when they have their period?

Rate This Answer

Female mosquitoes use a number of environmental clues to identify a target: body heat, lactic acid, CO2 (carbon dioxide), water vapor, and numerous other chemicals produced by the human body (e.g., sebum, sweat). There is no evidence that a mosquito is more attracted to a menstruating woman.
