Are the New York Giants a football team?
The NY Giants are an NFL team in the NFC East div and call the New Meadowlands Stadium home along with the NY Jets. They were founded by Tim Mara back in 1925 for $500. They began going by the 'New York Football Giants' because of the baseball team, but cont'd to use it when the bball team moved. They are often called: 'Big Blue', the 'G-Men', and the 'Jints.'
