The Winnipeg Jets are a pro ice hockey team, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They are members of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL, as they were the previous year when they were known as the Atlanta Thrashers. The league will be realigned for the 2012–13 Season at the earliest, with the team expected to move into the Western Conference.
