Are they really shutting down Tumblr?
Students who logged onto Tumblr to update their blogs or turned to Wikipedia for a translation of their textbooks' academic jargon Wednesday found themselves staring at a dark screen. This was in protest of proposed laws SOPA and PIPA, which if enacted could eventually shut down sites like Tumblr.
