Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3?
It's mostly a matter of opinion, as both Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are great games. Fans of strategic, team-based multiplayer will prefer BF3, but MW3 will be fast-paced and has the new Spec-Ops Survival mode. Ciao, bella!

About Battlefield 3
Battlefield 3 is an upcoming entry in the Battlefield series of games from Electronic Arts. The game focuses on multiplayer that involves heavy vehicle combat and large scale battles. It runs on a new game engine called 'Frostbite 2' which creates amazing lighting effects and environmental destruction. EA released an open beta a month before the game's release that was very glitchy and possibly hurt sales of the game. Battlefield 3 officially released on October 25, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Modern Warfare 3, MW3) is the 8th video game in the Call of Duty series, and is a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2. The biggest addition is the new SpecOps 'Survival' mode, where two players fight off endless waves of tactical enemies. MW3 released on November 8, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, and Nintendo DS. It was the biggest entertainment launch ever, with around 12 million copies sold in the first week alone!
