Bog turtle?
A bog is a wet, spongy ground with soil composed mainly of decayed vegetable matter. The bog turtle (Glyptemys muhlenbergii) is a semiaquatic turtle that is endemic to the eastern United States. It was discovered in Pennsylvania in the 18th century and first scientifically described in 1801.
