Can 911 get text messages?

You cannot text 911. It is an emergency phone service. If you are unable to talk, it is possible to trace your call. Cha Cha!

Next Generation 911 systems, text messages are not guaranteed to get there. So I wouldn't take the risk. Thanks for asking ChaCha!
