Can a human get fiv?
FIV occurs only in cats (including the big wild cats, i.e. lions, snow leopards, etc.), just like HIV only occurs in humans; though it is a derivative of a primate virus occurring in chimpanzees. Chacha!

About Cats
Cats are the most popular pet in the world, perhaps because they require less care than a dog. Cats are relatively independent, but they do form strong attachments to people and places and require a steady routine and a good diet in order to be happy and healthy.
