Yes, chickens can fly. Small ones like bantams can fly up into trees. The heavier ones can don't get much height though.

No. Chickens can't fly. They can flap thier wings and get up in the air a little bit, sometimes, but cannot achieve true flight.

Smaller chicken breeds can fly 25-50 feet and will roost in trees if allowed to. Heavier breeds have much more limited flight.
