Dogs have good night vision, due in part to the tapetum, which reflects light giving the retina a second chance to register light.

That depends what you call dark. Nothing can see in complete darkness... unless you're talking about infrared radiation. ChaCha!

They can see quite well in the dark so long as its not complete darkness. The eye still needs some light to be able to see.

While they cannot see in complete pitch black darkness, dogs do indeed have the ability to see in low-light conditions. ChaCha!
