Spiders Spiders are arthropods called arachnids. All arachnids have four pairs of walking legs and fangs, (chelicerae), adapted for liquid feeding instead of jaws or other types of feeding structures. Gynandromorphism is the occurrence of both male and female characteristics in an organism. There have been cases of spiders with Gynandromorphism, but they are exceedingly rare and do not produce pregnancies. Female spider need male spiders to reproduce. ChaCha away!
