Can humidity make someone's nose bleed?
Nosebleeds can occur spontaneously when the nasal membranes dry out, crust, and crack. This is common in dry climates, or during the winter months when the air is dry and warm from household heaters, especially forced air furnaces, and gas, pellet, or wood-burning stove.

Nose bleeds are very common and can be a side effect of nasal irritation and dryness. People who take blood thinners for hypertension or heart conditions, such as aspirin or warfarin (Coumadin), may be susceptible to chronic nose bleeds.
