Can I drive with my friend if I'm only 16 and I have a note?
If you're 16 in CA and are driving on a learner's permit, you must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, licensed driver 25 years old or older, or a licensed, certified driving instructor to drive. No, you may not drive anyone under the age of 18, even with a note. It would be illegal and you could have your license suspended. ChaCha
