About Pancakes
Pancakes, flap-jacks, hotcakes or whatever you want to call them are thin flat cakes made from batter, and usually in the shape of a circle. They are usually cooked on a hot griddle or in a frying pan. Depending on where you're from, pancakes can be topped with fruit, maple syrup, jelly or jam or meat.
