Can I use the chocolate touch without a data plan?
Yes, you can get it without the data plan. Its a choice you can make for yourself when its time to do so. But most of the functions that you would use on the phone, or apps that it comes with won't work without data plan or would cause you to be charged the 1.99 a MB, which is pretty expensive.
