Can my employer discuss my FMLA with other employees?
Under FMLA, employers are required to keep medical records and documents of employees or their family members in files separate from personnel files. With certain exceptions, they are to be treated as confidential records. With that said, they can discuss your case with other members of staff if it is warranted. ChaCha!
