Can Old World Monkeys and Great Apes interbreed?
Old World Monkeys make the family Cercopithecinae. While Great Apes make the family Hominidae which includes orangutans, gorillas, humans and chimpanzees. The Old World Moneys and Great Apes can not interbreed. ChaCha!

About Monkeys
Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent and, unlike apes, monkeys usually have tails. Monkeys range in size from the Pygmy Marmoset, at 5-6 inches long and 4-5 ounces in weight, to the male Mandrill, almost 3.3 feet long and weighing 77 pounds. Some live in trees while others live on the savanna. Diets differ among the various species but may contain any of the following: fruit, leaves, seeds, nuts, flowers, eggs and small animals.
