Can the electric company shut your electric off if your behind the bill in the winter?
Between November 15th and April 15th you usually can not be cut off. Contact your electric company if you get a notice in the mail

April 15th is the day by which all taxpayers must file their taxes with the state and federal governments. Exemptions are fairly easy to obtain, however. An exemption allows taxes to be paid at some specified later time, usually within the next quarter.
