I can't find any evidence of that, but, they can read your emails if you use free services like gmail or yahoo.

About Gmail
Gmail is a free email service provided by Google. From its limited word-of-mouth debut in 2007, by 2009 it had over 150 million regular users and in 2010, nearly 200 million users. Its programming even sets it apart from other email services, and should appear familiar to anyone who regularly checks out internet forums.
About Yahoo
Yahoo was one of the earliest and most dominant of the search engines in the early days of the internet's explosion. It was founded in 1994.
