Can the state garnish trust fund checks for child support?
Besides wage garnishment, a state's child support collection agency may take funds from other income sources. These include tax refunds, unemployment funds or workers' compensation payments. Trust funds are income so could be garnished. If garnishment of these sources is not enough, they could garnish both jobs.
