Can you cash a check in your account if its written out from someone else to something?
You can cash a check if it is written to someone else & the person the check is written out to endorses the check to you by writing the following on the back of the check: "Pay to the order of _______________" & then sign their name below. That will make the item payable to the person designated (you) & you will then need to endorse it or deposit it into their account.
