Big Stick policy is a form of hegemony and was the slogan describing U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt’s corollary to the Monroe Doctrine. Dollar Diplomacy is a term used to describe the effort of the United States to further its aims in Latin America and East Asia. Moral diplomacy was a policy put in place during the presidency of Woodrow Wilson. The president hoped to influence and control other countries through economic pressure, supporting Latin American governments that were democratic.
