Can you Compare how humans are infected by a hookworm and by Trichinella?

Rate This Answer

These parasites travel through the blood stream. Hookworm eggs hatch outside the body of the host and develop in the soil. If they find an unprotected foot, they use sharp teeth and hooks to burrow into the skin and enter the bloodstream. Humans get Trichinosis almost exclusively by eating raw or incompletely cooked pork. Thanks for asking ChaCha!
