Can you drive on the freeway with a spare tire?

As far as the law goes, there are no laws against driving on the freeway with a spare, however, if a officer finds the car to be dangerous or a threat to cause an accident, you can be sited and even impounded. What you want to do is check the tire, or the manual, for the max speed you can drive with it. Most spare tires are 55mph maximum.
